SU-27 fighters TECHNICAL DETAILS
The basic design of the Su-27 is aerodynamically similar to that of the MiG-29, but it is significantly larger. The wing merges into the fuselage at the leading edge extensions and is essentially a cross between a swept wing and a trimmed delta (the delta wing with trimmed ends for missile rails or ECM pods). The fighter is also an example of a delta wing with tailplane configuration, retaining the classic horizontal tailplanes.
