Project Description

MIG-21 fighter TECHNICAL DETAILS

The MiG-21 was the first Soviet aircraft to successfully combine the characteristics of a fighter and an interceptor in a single aircraft.
Some sixty countries on four continents have used the MiG-21, which is still in the service of many nations six decades after its first flight. It broke aviation records, became the most produced supersonic jet in aviation history, the most produced fighter since the Korean War and, before that, the longest production run of a fighter aircraft (now surpassed by the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle and the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon).
