Project Description

MIG-21 fighter TECHNICAL DETAILS

The MiG-21 was the first successful Soviet aircraft to combine fighter and interceptor characteristics in a single aircraft.
Some 60 countries on four continents have used the MiG-21, which is still serving many nations six decades after its first flight. It set records in the field of aviation, became the most produced supersonic jet aircraft in aviation history, the most produced fighter aircraft since the Korean War, and previously the longest produced fighter aircraft (now surpassed by both the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle and the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon).
