The Mil Mi-24 is a large gunship helicopter, an attack helicopter and a low-capacity troop transport with space for eight passengers. It is manufactured by the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant and has been used since 1972 by the Soviet Air Force and its successors, along with 48 other nations.
