9K33-OSA air defense system TECHNICAL DETAILS
Osa was the first mobile air defense missile system to integrate its own engagement radars on a single vehicle.
All versions of the 9K33 are equipped with an all-in-one 9A33 carrier-launcher and radar vehicles that can detect, track and engage aircraft independently or with the help of regimental surveillance radars. The BAZ-5937 six-wheel transport vehicles are fully amphibious and air-transportable. Route range is around 500 km.
